Features[edit]

  • This is a diode ladder VCF - original design by Moritz Klein, with a couple of small adaptions made by T Killa
  • There are two CV inputs
    • CV1 with an attenuator to control the amount
    • CV2 with an attenuverter so it's possible to invert the signal as well as controlling the amount of modulation
  • The filter is a low-pass filter only
  • 3U tall
  • 6 HP (30mm) wide
  • Uses ER-PROTO-01 Front Panel and controls cards
    • Re-label jacks using P-Touch labels
    • Cover unused holes/silkscreens with blank P-Touch labels

Issues[edit]

Rev 1[edit]

  • Cleaned up ER-PROTO-01 schematic to clarify RV to inter-board connector mappings
  • POT RV1 on reference design is POT6 on card
    • POT6-3 s/b +12V
    • POT6-1 s/b GND
  • POT RV2 on reference design is POT4 on card. pins 1, 3 are backwards
    • Cut POT4-3 (J2-7) away from GND
    • Cut POT4-1 (J2-5)
  • Short on J2 - Move output to J4
    • Output of U1-8 to R23 is OK
    • Lift leg R23 near J2 end
    • Add wire from lifted leg of R23 to J3-2 (OUT)
    • Add wire J3-1 to J3-3 (GND)
  • VIO_3 is not hooked up, POT 3 shorted to VIO_2
    • Lift R1 leg near J3
    • Add wire J3-6 to lifted R1 leg
  • RV4 missing GND on pin 1
    • Add wire J2-13 to J2-10 (GND)
  • Need to add reverse protection diodes
  • Need to add bypass caps
