Features
- Simple dual slew rate limiter
- Used for portamento effects or to smooth out a stepped voltage from a sequencer, or for general audio or CV smoothing
- Each channel contains a buffer with 100K input impedance suitable for pitch CVs
- The slew pot affects the charging of a large capacitor connected to a second amplifier
- The second amp provides buffering for output to isolate the output jack from the actual slewing function
- Control range of 0-10s (approx.)
- Power: +12V @ 5mA, -12V @ 5mA
Credits
Jacks/Controls
- 2 Slew Rate adjustment Pots
- 4 Jacks
- 2 Input jacks
- 2 Output jacks
Wiring
Pots on Controls Card
- Install 100 Ohms resistor at R1, R2
- Install B100K at RV1, RV2
- Add wire RV1-1 to RV1-2
- Add wire RV2-1 to RV2-2
Jacks on Controls Card
- Install J1-J4
- Add wire J1-S to J3-S
- Add wire J3-S to J4-S
- Add wire J2-S to J4-S
J6 - Eurorack Power Jack
- Install 14 pin socket for U1
- Orient socket so Pins 1-7 face +12V bus (right side)
- Add wire U1-4 to +12V
- Add wire U1-11 to -12V
- Install 10 pin IDC connector at J6
- Pin 1 to "STRIPE"
Input Buffers
- Node: J1-T, J38-8 to first open row left side center of 3 pins
- R3: 100K ohm from first open row left side right of 3 pins to GND (don't solder yet)
- R6: 1K ohm from first open row left side left pin to next open row
- Wire R6 new side to U1-
- Node: J2-T, J38-4 to first open row right side center of 3 pins
- 100K ohm from first open row right side left of 3 pins to GND
