Box Construction
- 3/4" Red Oak plywood
- Spar varnish finish (no finished in photo)
- Synthrotek 84 HP rails with threaded nut strips (both come in pairs)
- 18-3/8" Wide, 84HP
- 6-1/2" tall, 3U
- 4-3/4" deep
- Glued together/clamped
- Didn't use screws
- Did not use 1/4-20 screws to mount rails
- Drilled small holes into back of rails and screwed rails down w/ wood screws
- Rails are flush to box edges
- Next one
- Screw in rails, power supply, power strip before gluing up box
